Flash ActionScript with ARToolKit

A kind of new interactive media.

It's presented by AID-DCC. They developed “FLARToolKit,” a ported version of ARToolKit in May 2008.

The “FLARToolKit” has made it possible to suggest a dynamic advertising tool, combining paper materials (the new year’s card) with 3D motions. Changing shapes of markers, 3D objects jumping out of the card, and rhythmical movement of objects are among amazing effects of “Augmented Reality.”

For audiences without web cameras, a demonstration movie (including some extreme examples) is available to give you a feel of this exciting fusion of “real” and “virtual.” The movie is also available on YouTube to stimulate the interest of a-list bloggers.
